Treyarch Spares First Details For Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Post-Launch Content Schedule

As of today, there is only one full week until the anticipated release for Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. And while the game is seeping with a new experience among new enhancements only available on the next-generation of console hardware, it is imminent that additional content will be passed into the game following its release.

And while the developer has already verified that there will be another battle pass system alongside bridging Warzone with the mode unique to Black Ops Cold War, there is more content expected to ship prior to the first season scheduled to arrive in December. For that, Treyarch went to the means of social media to spare the new details.

On Twitter, the developer on the official Call of Duty account posted an image illustrating the new additions that are subjected to be added in anticipation for the first battle pass season to come next month. You can view the image in the tweet below:

Given that fans are hungry for something, Treyarch once again will be dishing out a new iteration of Nuketown. The classic Black Ops map from the inaugural entry will be making a comeback with ‘Nuketown ‘84’ on November 24 later this month. As for the first season, Treyarch offers a broadened forecast on what is to be expected.

Of course, multiplayer maps and modes are prone to be included alongside additional weapons added to the game’s arsenal. 2v2 Gunfight is also making its returning debut for Black Ops Cold War. There is also a stretch of new zombies content with new modes scheduled to arrive. Treyarch also highlights a “classified Warzone experience” we are sure to hear more about later on.

This week, publisher Activision pressed on the game’s file size for the range of consoles supported. While Xbox One and PlayStation 4 only require 90 GB roughly, the next-gen version for the title tips well into the 130 GB territory. You can read the full report by heading here.
