When it comes to Nintendo Switch, the platform continues to deliver new and exciting additions to its platform. More specifically, experiences that take advantage of the unique peripherals for its system with the Joy-Con controllers. This year, we already witnessed this with the arrival for Nintendo Switch sequel Everybody 1-2 Switch back in June.
Additionally, the platform is to also capture this come this November with WarioWare: Move It. Similar to games of the Nintendo Wii, the game requires players to truly utilize the motion controls of the Nintendo Switch to perform specific functions when battling friends through dozen of microgames in the new title.
At the Nintendo Direct on Thursday, Nintendo & Holy Wow Studios revealed a new game drops today for the platform. Using the motion controls & IR camera of the Joy-Con brings Trombone Champ – a new competitive musical experience. You can watch the launch trailer in the video below:
“Do you have what it takes to become the Trombone Champ? Trombone Champ allows you to play over 45 songs, which include anthems, marches, classical pieces, electronic music, folk classics, and more. You can also play with up to four players in local multiplayer mode!” the description on the official Nintendo eShop page reads.
“The game supports multiple control modes, so you can play however you like! There’s also a hidden story for you to discover! As you play the game, you can find collectible cards and interact with hidden characters, which allow you to unlock new characters, trombones, trombone sounds, and more. Can you unlock all of the game’s mysteries?”
