Turn 10 Reveals Cover Cars For Forza Motorsport, More Gameplay Scheduled For June 13

Just over a year ago, Playground Games shattered records with the release of Forza Horizon 5. And whilst the game does continue to explore the arcade nature of racing for the Forza subgenre, developer Turn 10 Studios is working on the next mainline Forza Motorsport game. Announced back in 2020, fan patiently await for the release date reveal for the anticipated racer.

Although little has been featured on the next-generation title, Turn 10 Studios has been hands on with its community. Forza Panel signees were granted access to an early build of the game. The game was also projected to ship this spring. However, after the January showcase it was clear to not be ready so soon. But fans did learn over 500 cars are primed for the new release.

From Turn 10 Studios on Thursday, the Xbox Game Studios team revealed that Forza Motorsport has a new cover car: the 2023 No. 01 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R & 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray. Even more is additional gameplay of the game is promised following the June-scheduled Xbox Games Showcase next month.

“We’re excited to confirm your Forza Motorsport cover cars – meet the stunning 2023 No. 01 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R and 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray. Tune in to the Xbox Games Showcase on June 11th for an up-close look at the cars, and see a full walkthrough of our single player career gameplay during Forza Monthly on June 13th! See you at the starting line.”

Of course, with the new cover cars front and center essentially confirms what the box art for Forza Motorsport will be. What remains is a nearby release date for the racer, hopefully. After a six year wait since Forza Motorsport 7 shipped on Xbox One, it is certainly a long enough wait for fans of the series.
