Today surely has been an eventful day for Pokémon fans as Nintendo revealed a bevy of new additions to continually growing series. The announcements include the exciting new game Pokémon Café Mix which allows players to run their own titular business and be operated by favored Pokémon as you continue to grow. With the game coming to Nintendo Switch & mobile, the firm has another announcement for smart phones as well.

During the Pokémon Presents showcase today, Nintendo unveiled a new application for younger fans of the series, titled ‘Pokémon Smile’. What this new app does helps users make brushing teeth fun with help from a diverse cast of different Pokémon and earn new ones to catch alongside unlock new in-game items also.

According to the official website for Pokémon Smile, kids will be able to brush their teeth as they fight against plaque foes in efforts to save trapped Pokémon. “Children can defeat the troublesome bacteria with skillful brushing to make the captive Pokémon appear. If kids brush their teeth well, they will be able to rescue the Pokémon.”

There are over 100 species of Pokémon to rescue, so kids will want to keep coming back to brush in order to complete their Pokédex.” As players begin filling their Pokédex, they will unlock Pokémon caps to wear on their head and even filters to look like Pokémon when brushing their teeth. The aim for Pokémon Smile is to get young children into the habit of brushing and improve their skills in cleaning their teeth.

Another exciting announcement that took place today was for New Pokémon Snap. The game stands as a remake of the fan-favorite 1999 title and holds to be a complete revamp of Nintendo 64 title. You can read the full report by heading here
