As Ubisoft’s Raddibs Invasion Nickelodeon series debuts its fourth season on Netflix this week, the video game publisher also reveals that the company will be expanding its family-friendly content to other franchises under the publisher’s library of games. Announcing that Rayman as well as mobile game Hungry Shark are expected to receive their very own television series as part of the initiative to bring watchable content spawned from Ubisoft’s video game lineup.
While the company does highlight that both shows are to be released at some point in the near future, Ubisoft did however leave out detail on who will be involved with said projects or specific synopses for these two new series either. Ubisoft did at least supply with a single concept for the upcoming Rayman show, which you can view below:
As for the second mobile title television series, Ubisoft declared the name for the project to be ‘Hungry Shark Squad’ which is self-explanatory to feature the starring Great White on the games’ covers alongside the other playable underwater predators also to be framed as the main cast assumably.
Ubisoft also disclosed during the same announcement that the heavier on violence Watch Dogs will also be receiving a children-aimed television show following a female protagonist who solves mysteries in her high school with her incredible hacking skills. Posed as a “cybermystery”, this of the other projects Ubisoft announced surely will be the most interesting to see play out leading up to the show’s release.
Reflecting back to the currently airing Rabbids show on Nickelodeon’s television network, Ubisoft has also revealed that the show will also be receiving a Mars-located special in a future airing too.
