Ubisoft Launches Terminator Timed Event For Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Today

This now looks to be a pattern regarding Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon series and licensed properties coexisting among one another. It was back in 2018 that we witnessed Predator from the titular film infiltrated the land of Bolivia in Ghost Recon Wildlands for a timed event which changed the formula as the extraterrestrial hunter pursued for more victims once landing on Earth. Now a similar situation seems to be heading its way to the latest Ghost Recon installment also.

Ubisoft revealed this week that Terminator from the same-name film series will be making an appearance in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint starting today. From now until February 6th, the first of two missions for this new threat will be available. Mission 2 is told to arrive on February 2 next week.

To initiate the mission, you must speak with a woman Rasa Aldwin where she states to “be from the future” and asking for your help. From there is where you will discover the secret weapon she holsters which is the only fighting chance to stop this unstoppable soldier. The second segment of the event seen from the trailer looks to take on the production plant of these human-looking machines which is cited to be a new section of the map you will unlock.

Of course, there is also a slew of new free items that players will be provided from the event which you can read below:

• AR-18
• Resistance Helmet
• RT5 Shepherd Terminator
• Shredded T-800 Facial Paint
• Starfield X4 Terminator
• Uzi

Ubisoft shares that there are a total of 23 exclusive items that can be obtained from this new event, which have not been fully disclosed as of yet. Completing the first of two missions will reward the player with MK14. More details are said to be shared at a later date, Ubisoft explains.

The newly inhabited T-800s that you will see throughout Auroa can be taken down through newly integrated Interception missions. However, that is all that will be offered for now from this second crossover event between Ghost Recon and Arnold Schwarzenegger films.
