On July 12 Ubisoft will be hosting their online presentation that is in place of their canceled E3 2020 conference. Today, insider known as ‘Slasher’ posted on Twitter that the publisher is planning to reveal a new Battle Royale game.

This new BR is called Hyper Scape that is code-named “Prisma Dimensions”. It’s described as a AAA multiplayer fast-paced FPS Battle Royale from Ubisoft Montreal. This is the same development team that has worked on Rainbow 6 and Assassin’s Creed.

It is rumored to be a free to play Battle Royale set in a futuristic virtual world for both PC and consoles with the console launch happening later in 2020. The game will include cross-play between console and PC and its expected to go into closed beta next week while the full game launches on July 12.

Just like EA with Apex Legends launching, Ubisoft is reportedly teaming with popular streamers, content creators, and professional players where they’ll get to play the game early and get to post early gameplay footage. That is expected to happen this week.

Don’t miss the Ubisoft Forward Online Presentation on Sunday, July 12 at 3 PM EST.
