Players have learned that Ubisoft will close your account and remove all the games you purchased if you haven’t logged on to your Ubisoft Connect account in a long time. This comes from @PC_enjoyer on Twitter when they shared an email they received from Ubisoft giving the user a notice.
The email said the following:
“We have temporarily suspended your inactive account and will be closing it permanently in 30 days in accordance with our Terms of Use.”
After tweeting this out, the Ubisoft Support account replied with a typical response that the user can avoid the situation by logging in within the 30 days.

The key point here is that the games you purchased with your Ubisoft account will be lost. It’s confirmed that you will do so with the above Ubisoft Support tweet: “We certainly do not want you to lose access to your games or account”.
According to Ubisoft’s support website, if you have an active subscription you will be and Ubisoft will be unable to close your account.
With the digital age growing for the video game industry does this scare consumers for the future of buying games digitally? For now if you haven’t logged into your Ubisoft account in a long time, be sure to do so and probably any other accounts you have for PC or console gaming.
