Neil Druckman has announced that Uncharted 4 has been delayed yet again. In a post on the PlayStation blog this morning, the Creative Director cited “in order to meet standards and vision” that the game will now release a month later on April 26th, 2016.
After a disappointing delay out of this year as well as the holiday season for PS4 gamers, Naughty Dog has decided they need an additional six weeks in order to fine tune the game. Now, as disappointing as it may seem that the PS4’s biggest game to date has been delayed yet again, another point of contention is that it really isn’t a big deal due to the lack of blockbuster titles PlayStation is putting out. According to Druckman, he stated that
Pushing the date is not an easy choice, and we wouldn’t do it if we didn’t feel in our hearts it’s the best course of action for the game. To you, our loyal fans, we hope you’ll accept our sincere apology. We know many of you have been waiting patiently for Nathan Drake’s final chapter, and now we humbly ask you to wait a bit longer. On April 26, 2016 the most ambitious installment in the Uncharted series will be in your hands.
