The PlayStation 4 horror classic game from Supermassive Games, Until Dawn is getting a remaster for PlayStation 5 and PC. The game originally released on August 25, 2015, will be making its way to modern platforms in Fall 2024. A release date has not been revealed as of yet.

The Until Dawn gameplay trailer shown at the State of Play on May 30, shows the game rebuilt and enhanced for PS5 and PC.

When eight friends return to the isolated lodge where two of their group vanished a year prior, fear tightens its icy grip, and their mountain retreat descends into a nightmare with no escape.

It was announced at the January PlayStation State of Play that a Until Dawn Remaster would be coming, but now we have a release window.

“Rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5, Until Dawn has seen enhancements across the board, all made with passion and care for the original from the team of horror lovers, film fanatics, and veteran game makers at Ballistic Moon; and it’s coming to PS5 and PC this year! Until Dawn has been rebuilt with the latest tools and techniques. New and improved animations build on the success of the original character performances. Characters, environments and VFX have been upgraded – all for a truly enhanced cinematic horror experience.”
