House House’s Untitled Goose Game has graced the gaming sphere for these past few months on PC along with its release on Nintendo Switch back in September, but what about the game migrating to other platforms at some point? Well it looks that the team is ready to release both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the title just as winter is about to arrive.

During this week’s final State of Play presentation for 2019, the game was initially expected to launch on Sony’s current console, but later on it was revealed that the game will also be arriving to Xbox as well the same day next Tuesday.

You can watch the new trailer for the game just below:

Discussion for the title being ported to other platforms have already emerged just months prior as the website for Untitled Goose Game states that these respected versions are already in development. Assumably, the game currently holds a year-long contract with Epic Games to have the project launch on their storefront, so other PC iterations are most likely expected to drop in Fall 2020. Applying to Steam, Itch, and MacOS for more context.

However, it was also shared that the team is also looking to create a mobile port for the title also. While not specifically directing any implication that a version for smart phones are on the way, publisher Founder Cabel Sasser did respond to a questioning fan that House House is working to find a comfortable controls scheme regarding touch screen controls; that’s at least for iOS. Android on the other hand was not brought up during the initial discussion, so that could potentially be ruled out for future versions.

Especially seeing the lineup of anticipated titles that is already filling Apple Arcade’s subscription catalogue, it would be expected to see Untitled Goose Game be another welcomed addition.

Untitled Goose Game is available now for PC and Nintendo Switch; coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 17, 2019.
