This quickly drew attention to the team at NetherRealm and the developer has shared that they are currently at work to resolving this issue on today’s Kombat Kast.

The developers sharing that this change will not require its own client update or even an respected patch to touch up on how the game’s progression works towards unlocking in-game items. Explaining that the issue will only require a “tweak var” which could be done simply under the table without any major download that the user is required to install.

Adding on to the subject that NetherRealm is working to bring the tweak “ASAP” from the reception fans have been very vocal about on social media. When exactly the fix will be out has not been determined, but we should expect to see the sudden change pretty soon.
