Since we first knew about the existence of Xbox One X (then Project Scorpio), we knew that better performance and visual output was emphasized for “The World’s Most Powerful Console”. Not until E3 2017 we got the first look at the console and introducing 4K resolutions with 60 frames per second gameplay to the Xbox brand. For this we only assumed this would apply to titles from this generation, but it expanded into the catalogue of Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility games.
As we already know that titles like Gears of War 3 and Skate 3 are X Enhanced, more games will be added to the list now. Announced from Xbox’s Major Nelson that four titles from Valve will be receiving an X enhanced update: The Orange Box, Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, and Portal Still Alive.
Starting today, four more Xbox One Backward Compatibility titles will be enhanced for Xbox One X. Enjoy playing Half-Life 2: The Orange Box, Portal: Still Alive, Left 4 Dead, and Left 4 Dead 2 with enhanced visuals and higher resolutions on Xbox One X https://t.co/7q7myPS0gC pic.twitter.com/bdUjeDvnhG

So not only will the individual listed titles will be getting an enhanced update, also titles like Half-Life 2 and Team Fortress 2 bundled in The Orange Box will be included for the X enhancement update.
Since the reveal of 360 titles getting these Xbox One X upgrades, it’s been a while since the list has had any new additions. Similar to the roster of Original Xbox titles as well, especially as when the games launch on the store comes with the enhancements.
All of Valve’s titles is available now to play in higher resolutions and with a better frame rate now.
