More than a month ago during the 2018 Game Awards, PUBG was present at the awards show revealing the newest map coming to the tactical battle royale, Vikendi. The snow map which initially hopped on test servers for the PC version will now be coming to consoles this coming Tuesday, January 22nd.

Along with the new 6x6km snow covered map, Vikndi also features a new weapon the 636C, and the snowmobile to travel more efficiently in the new region. A complete rework on the parachute mechanic will be bundled with the new map giving you the option to glide/dive when free falling and the ability to cut your chute before landing.
As we’re already on the topic of the console versions of PUBG: the studio revealed back in October to still be working on making a 30 frames per second update for the Xbox One iteration. Despite the full version of the game already out and can’t hold a consistent 30 fps, the plan to fix that still in their sight is reassuring to say the least.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available for Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4, Android, and iOS.
