When looking at grand PC properties like World of Warcraft, the series is always expanding itself beyond the base game. Just last month, Blizzard Entertainment unveiled the next expansion for the game: Dragonflight. The new add-on will include a new traversal skill dragonriding and feature the first ever class/race dracthyr Evoker.
Additionally, the firm is also working on the release of Diablo Immortals next month. The game while announced all the way back at BlizzCon 2018 is officially arriving at the start of June. The game is also to release for PC as well with improvements including controller support and W/A/S/D control scheme as well.
On the topic of mobile, the team at Blizzard Entertainment is crafting another smartphone title – Warcraft Arclight Rumble. You can watch the cinematic trailer in the video below:
“In the fantasy world of Azeroth, Warcraft Arclight Rumble is a dazzling new sensation that’s sweeping inns and taverns across the land—a wonderous mechanical amusement machine powered by the mad wizardry of gnomish engineering, where Azeroth’s greatest heroes and most fearsome villains come to life in miniature to do battle,” the overview for the game reads.
“Build your forces from collections of minis, starting with your armies’ Leaders—which include Warcraft notables like the Warsong chieftain Grommash Hellscream and Archmage Jaina Proudmoore—and fill in your rosters with rank-and-file Troop minis and powerful Spells. Each single-player mission presents its own distinct, strategic puzzle to solve, and players will have to nimbly adapt their tactics in real-time to overcome these frantic challenges.”
Similarly, Riot Games already began this route previously. In that, the team announced League of Legends: Teamfight Tactics. While it is not a direct port of the game which originated on PC, the title does expand the universe already established by the base title. You can read the full report by heading here.
