For the longest time, comments and speculation swelled on what Warner Bros. Montreal has been working on. In fall 2019, one leak pointed out that the next game will feature an entire playable Bat Family. Even more, the Court of Owls would be the large foe for the new story too. And after more teases, the developer officially unveiled Gotham Knights: a four character experience starring Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Batgirl.

Fast forward to this year, Warner Bros. Montreal revealed that Gotham Knights is planned to ship this October. But as reports from those played the game surfaced, it was discovered that the game is capped at 30 frames per second on console. This comes as a surprise namely due to the game being available exclusively for next-generation Xbox Series & PlayStation 5 alongside PC.

Now following the initial launch, Warner Bros. Montreal has made an statement. In a thread on Twitter, the developer shares that it plans to introduce new patchwork for the game which will improve performance on consoles and bring better stability to refresh too.

Similarly, this string of events happened to another game last year. In that, Deck Nine Games’ Life is Strange: True Colors faced similar scrutiny when that shipped in the fall. But, the developer shortly after its release introduced a 60 frames per second update to the game. Now let’s hope Warner Bros. Montreal features similar swift attention as well for Gotham Knights.

If not already, we urge you read out review on Gotham Knights. “When I think back on the time that I have put into Gotham Knights, I found myself entertained by the story, and I wanted to do every side quest and challenge that I could to build my character to be as strong as possible.
