It is finally here. The wait is over. The brand new design of the website is here, and now everyone can experience the new world of Rectify. This website update is nothing like the past ones we had. What you are seeing is our very own design, which is an awesome feeling.

On December 17, 2017, I said the new update would roll out in the early part of 2018. Of course, life happens and bumps in the road appear. We initially worked with a few developers who did not share our vision for the site, but we eventually found the right people.

IVGRAFIX, our partner in building the site

Before I start getting into details about some of the updates we have going on, I have to give credit to Spencer at IVGrafix. He has created many amazing sites for other companies, and we are very proud of the work he has done on ours. You can check out his website here to see more of his projects.

Now, let’s talk about the new look. As we move forward and grow with this new website design we will be doing updates to better your experience with it. We will be constantly looking for feedback, so please let us know what you like and what you may find to be slightly less appealing. On the homepage we wanted to be more organized with our post structure, so now you’ll see the latest reviews, news, esports-related posts, NX Gamer posts, media event posts and editorials. There will eventually be more added to the homepage in the future, such as an interview section and possibly an entertainment one for the Rectify Gaming Podcast.

There are a couple cool new features we have on the website which you can see on the sidebar. For our sponsors, there will be a special slider on just about every page showing who our partners are, with links back to their website. Shopping using these links will support both this website and our partners.

Another sweet addition is the ‘Featured Stream’ section on the homepage. We will be changing this up from time to time to feature various streamers from our Stream Team. The other feature is the ‘Upcoming Events’ slider, where on some pages you’ll be able to see some of the next events we’ll be attending, whether it’s an esports tournament or a media event like PAX or TwitchCon.

Another upgraded feature we have for you guys involves our partnership with Winbackgrounds. A few years ago, when we partnered with Winbackgrounds, we wanted to give our users a wide variety of themes to choose from for your console, desktop or mobile device. When visiting the page you’ll see the various options, and if you want to save one, all you have to do is right click + Save Image As. It’s that simple. Over time we will be adding more and more themes for you to choose from.

Today, we announced our thrilling partnership with NX Gamer, who will be teaming up with Rectify Gaming by posting Game Previews, Technical Analysis and Hardware Reviews. His videos will be featured on his page on the website. This is the first time we have had a partnership like this, and we are excited to bring our followers more content that we’ve never done before.

The Esports Zone page has to be one of my favorite parts of this new website update. One of the goals that we had was to feature our teams and players in different ways through social media and, of course, through our site. When scrolling down on the Esports Zone page you’ll see the list of our teams and player information. You’ll also notice a ‘Watch Matches Live’ section, which features a stream highlighting our teams playing in online leagues that we have permission to cast on our channel. If nothing is going on competition-wise, we will use that space to feature our streamers or players.

When looking at the right sidebar of the page, you’ll notice a couple of things. For one, you’ll spot our sponsors at the top. Under that, you’ll see upcoming events where our teams will be competing. Other eye candy will include our store, which we’ll talk more about soon, an esports news section and, of course, our live tweets from the Rectify Esports Twitter account.

Today we introduced the brand new Rectify Stream Team across Mixer and Twitch. This is the first time we will be streaming on Mixer, and we are proud to say we are already verified on that platform! Our Mixer team currently includes four streamers: TheOnlyTachyon, ColdFoamy, Padhug, and Sumtinelse. The manager for this team is long-time Rectify follower and member Daniel Hartshorn, who will be adding quality streamers to this team that have a positive attitude and are growing.

The first official stream from the Rectify Gaming Mixer account will be on August 25th for a special event we have planned.

Our Twitch team is managed by Ashlee ‘Skempish’, who has worked with Lethal Gaming in the past. The team will feature over 11 streamers for now, and as we grow we will be running recruitment challenges to add more people onto the team. We will be revealing the requirements in order to join soon.

I would be remiss if I didn’t take time to mention a sponsor that has been, and will continue to be, a great part of our future as we grow together. When I met with Echogear at PAX East, I had no idea that the conversation we had with Ryan (Echogear’s Director of Marketing) would turn into such a great relationship. They’ve given us the opportunity to review their monitor mounts, and when I saw them for the first time, I knew they had something going that was very unique and helpful to a lot of streamers and pro players. Their mounts completely change what your desk or setup used to be, giving you more room than you’ve ever had and making your PC experience more comfortable.

We look forward to the future of the Echogear and Rectify partnership and can’t wait to represent these guys on our esports jerseys at major events. You can visit their website here. Make sure to use code ’10Rectify’ to save 10 percent on your purchase and support us in the process!

After today’s reveals, and with the new website, it’s clear that we have a big family here with Rectify Gaming and Rectify Esports, but we aren’t done. As the leader of a company like this, it’s my job to make sure there are new opportunities on the horizon that are fresh and unique. In the above image you’ll see our new ‘RGA’ logo. You can make your predictions on what it is, but I won’t give much away just yet. All I can say is that this project will continue serious production come September. Our aim is to have this project released and revealed by the end of 2018 or early 2019, depending on how we feel about the progress.

The other logo you see up there is for ‘Project Relay’, which is obviously lacking many details. On December 17, 2017, we showed off a very small teaser for it, which you can view right here. Relay is years away from being officially complete, so don’t expect to hear too much about it in the near future.

The Rectify family will continue to grow throughout the coming months and years, and it’ll be interesting to see everyone’s reactions to these two projects as they will be major additions to the family. I wish I could talk about all of it right now, but it’s too early for that, so for now enjoy the growth of Rectify Gaming and Rectify Esports. We have more planned for the website and more excellent features coming your way soon, so stay tuned.
