The biggest reveal of the day at EA’s EA Play event during their E3 conference in Los Angeles today had to be the official reveal of Star Wars Battlefront 2 gameplay.
It’s a short trailer in time, about 2 minutes long, but there is a whole lot of new information shown. We get to see Yoda, Rey, Darth Maul and more in action. Actor Jon Boyega himself, who plays Finn in the current Star Wars films, announced that he will be a free, playable character for season one of the game. EA also announced that new characters and vehicles, etc will be free for those who own Battlefront 1. This means, if you haven’t purchased it already, I suggest doing so in order to earn yourself those extra, free characters.
Battlefront 2 releases on Xbox One and PS4 on November 17th, 2017, but EA Access users can play 8 days early beginning on November 9th. The same as most of their games, you will get full access to the game for a maximum of 10 hours. Once you use up that time, you will need to wait to the official launch day to play and all your progress will carry over.
There are brand new planets shown, including the new planet from the upcoming The Last Jedi, which will be playable for the first time in a game series. Check the game trailer out below.
