“Wo Long is one of the best action games Team Ninja has made and an easy recommendation for those looking for a challenge. […] [It] takes Team Ninja’s white-knuckle action to the Three Kingdoms era with stunning results,” at least, that’s what our review for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty reads back during the initial launch for the title. Since then, it went on to feature new add-ons for the base game.
In June, it kicked this off with ‘Battle of Zhongyuan’. Even more, the momentum carried forward with DLC ‘Conqueror of Jiangdong’ that arrived later in September. Not to mention the crossover content that arrived as well featuring both Lies of P & Nakara: Bladepoint during this summer as well.
This week, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty further adds with its latest add-on, ‘Upheaval in Jingxiang’. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:
“The new story depicts Liu Bei’s forces as they fight back against the threat of the Elixir that has gripped Jing Province since the death of Yu Ji,” Team Ninja writes. The YouTube description adds: “Take on the demon-plagued Three Kingdoms and overcome the odds of deadly combat!” Of course, it also comes including more game play features and items for returning players.
Among that is the new ‘Stratagem’ system. “A new system that allows powerful effects to be activated during battle, when certain requirements to use it are met,” the description shares. The DLC also features a new Divine Beast, Whip weapon as well as a Generals Guan Ping, Lady Mi, and Enemies & Demons.
