Wolfenstein Developer MachineGames Pokes At New Reveal For Xbox + Bethesda Showcase This Weekend

Looking at the calendar, we are getting scarily close to the upcoming Xbox + Bethesda Showcase slated for this Sunday. While many anticipate large reveals to be featured at the event, many are left questioning which developers will certainly be present at the show. For one, despite the recent delays, many are still anticipating Bethesda Game Studios & Arkane Studios to showcase Starfield & Redfall respectively at the presentation.

Of course, this will also carry over to the following Xbox + Bethesda Showcase Extended taking place the following Tuesday. But, what other game studios will be attending? For one, Obsidian Entertainment has teased it will be featuring more on its upcoming projects – either it being Avowed, Grounded 1.0, or even Project Pentiment specifically.

From a discovery over on MachineGames LinkedIn profile, the Wolfenstien developer made a statement referencing a new announcement is imminent from the team this Sunday at the showcase. “We are so excited for Sundays showcase! Hope you all are ready for it!” the studio made in response to Bethesda’s Michael Gregory posting about the event.

So, what could MachineGames be working on? Well, the developer is likely conjuring the next installment in the Wolfenstein franchise. With Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus being out for more than three years already, it is time a new title hits the market. Previously, it appeared the team has also hinted towards a new game which many speculated to be evidently pointing at the next Wolfenstein game as well.

Additionally, you can also recall MachineGames collaborating with Lucasfilm Games on a new Indiana Jones title. Ahead of the acquisition for Bethesda by Microsoft, the Disney subsidiary shared its plans to expand its reach with a new Indiana Jones title with the Wolfenstein developer. Little on the project has been pressed upon since.

However, word has it the game despite now being developed by an Xbox Game Studios team is to be releasing as a multiplatform title.
