Xbox announces partnership with Taco bell to bring Xbox One X to fans


On August 31st Xbox and Taco Bell will give fans nationwide the first chance to win the newest member of the Xbox One family, the Xbox One X, when they pick up the new Steak Quesarito $5 box.
Starting that day, each Taco Bell $5 Box will include a unique code for consumers to text in for a chance to win the new Xbox One X. Boxes will be available during the promotion from August 31 to October 4 at participating Taco Bell locations while supplies last. Throughout the duration of the promotion, a potential winner will be notified on an average of every 10 minutes. Winners will be the first to get their hands on the Xbox One X, as well as win Forza Motorsport 7 and a three-month Xbox Game Pass subscription with their console.
This isn’t the first time Xbox and Taco Bell partnered up, they originally did back in 2001 for the Original Xbox.
“When it launches starting November 7, Xbox One X will bring gamers an amazing new level of console power and immersion,” said Mike Nichols, Corporate Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Xbox. “We have a long history of partnerships with Taco Bell, dating back to the first Xbox, and are excited to once again work together to reward gamers with the opportunity to win Xbox One X.”
“It’s only fitting that the two brands that do ‘boxes’ best and have some of the greatest fans in the world have joined forces to box up the ultimate food and gaming offer for them,” said Marisa Thalberg, Chief Marketing Officer, Taco Bell Corp. “We see this partnership with Xbox as yet another way Taco Bell is tapping what is current in culture and providing our fans access to unique experiences they cannot get anywhere else.”
We are just a few weeks until Gamescom where Microsoft plans to reveal more news regarding the Xbox One X and there is a chance pre-orders go live by then.
