Xbox is due to have a great year after having a very quiet 2022 and it looks like reports are coming out about an Xbox exclusive coming out in the early part of 2023. According to sources with Windows Central, Redfall will be launching in May.
There had been teases before through Twitter that this could happen and Windows Central recently backed up the previous reports with their own sources.
“Our own sourcing corroborated those reports this past week, with Microsoft’s internal targets focusing on early May for the game’s launch” – Jez Corden
If it does launch in said month it would be in the first week.
If you aren’t familiar with Redfall, it’s an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Arkane Studios. This would mark the first Xbox exclusive to launch from a studio that was from the Bethesda Softworks acquisition.
Redfall would hopefully be one of many Xbox Game Studios games to come in 2023 along with Starfield possibly being their most anticipated. Redfall was originally planned to release September 2022, but was announced to be delayed earlier in the year.
