It’s going to be a busy week for the video game industry with Summer Game Fest kicking things off on June 9th at 2 PM ET. Rumors and speculations are already flying around as you might already see. The latest rumor is regarding Microsoft and what they might be showing off prior to the Summer Game Fest presentation by Geoff Keighley
According to Tom Henderson of Exputer, Microsoft will be announcing Xbox Game Demos which would be a competitor to Sony’s PlayStation Plus time-limited game trials. It’s reported that this demo feature would be for Xbox Game Pass members and that it will come out within the next year. The focus would be on helping indie developers across the globe.
Another rumor Tom talked about was that Microsoft will announce their Samsung partnership is extended and it will allow people to stream Xbox games on their Samsung Smart TV’s through Cloud Gaming.
When it comes to rumors this time of year it’s best to take them with a grain of salt, but we wouldn’t be shocked if this becomes true in the coming days.
As stated at the start of the post, it’s expected that these announcements will take place hours prior to Summer Game Fest.
