While much of June left a large impression on Xbox Game Pass owners upon concluding for the month, Microsoft kicked off a tamer lineup for the start of July 2021. During that, titles such as UFC 4, Tropico 6, Bloodroots, and Farming Simulator 19 arrived to the service. However, it was what comes in the latter half of July is where the growing library begins to get interesting.
Previously, it was already understood that Neon Giant’s The Ascent arrives in late July. While originally scheduled to arrive last year, the small developer decided to push its release in due part to limitations developing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Microsoft Flight Simulator from Asobo Studio is also shipping this month. With that, the team there teased a Top Gun free update is arriving later this fall as well.

Atop of the new additions to the library, continued support for touch screen controls on xCloud also welcomes new games. Those titles includes: Cities: Skylines, Darkest Dungeon, Fable Anniversary, Fable II, Fable III, Fuzion Frenzy, Gonner2, Joy Ride Turbo, Outlast 2, Steep, The Bard’s Tale ARPG, The Bard’s Tale IV, The Bard’s Tale Trilogy, and The Wild at Heart.
However, there are also a brief few of titles that will be departing from Xbox Game Pass as well which is It Lurks Below (Console; PC), The Touryst (Cloud; Console; PC), and UnderMine (Cloud; Console; PC).
Recently, Xbox head Phil Spencer when discussing the possibilities with Xbox Game Pass referenced how the service can open a window to which legacy title might be due for a reboot.
