We are less than a week from the official Xbox Games Showcase on June 11 and fans are anticipating it being a big show for Microsoft. Aaron Greenberg who is at the helm of Xbox Marketing has been responding to Xbox fans on Twitter and giving everyone a tease what to expect during the show when it comes to first-party games.
Aaron confirms that all the first-party games shown during the Xbox Games Showcase will either be in-game footage, in-engine footage, or in-game footage with some cinematics. There will not be any full CGI trailers for their first-party games.
None of our first party games in the show are full CG trailers. Everything is either in-game footage, in-engine footage, or in-game footage with some cinematics. Each of our trailers will be labeled so it is hopefully clear for our fans.

This is great to see from Microsoft as the world will be able to see what these upcoming games are capable of. It’s also expected that the Xbox Games Showcase will feature a number of first-party games from Xbox Games Studios because the last year or so it has been a little dry from Microsoft with new games coming out.
Are you excited for the Xbox Games Showcase when it takes place on June 11 at 1 PM ET.
