Xbox Games With Gold Features Four New Games Starting In January 2022

Over in the realm of Xbox Games with Gold, 2021 ended overall with a good lineup of titles for monthly subscribers to keep themselves occupied until the next increment of games arrives at the start of the new year. In that, The Escapists 2, Tropico 5 – Penultimate Edition, Orcs Must Die!, and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet all arrived then. And while we still have roughly a week until the new month is here, Microsoft reveals the new lineup for the next featured list.

Last week, a new Xbox Wire post went live featuring what is next for the service. Starting on January 1st, NeuroVoider arrives for Xbox One and Radiant Silvergun is to be available for Xbox 360. The first will be out until the end of the month whilst the second legacy game is only free until January 15. But, there are still two more games.

During the transition to the second half of the month on January 16, Aground for Xbox One goes live for the service. For Xbox 360, Space Invaders Infinity Gene is to be the last featured title for the month. As Aground will be up to install leading into February, the latter is only downloadable until the last day of January.

Although Xbox Live shows to offer some form of value with its titles for this year, Microsoft truly provided the buck to its users via Xbox Game Pass. In a recent report from The Loadout, Xbox Game Pass’ value in titles for this year alone ticked well over $6,300 overall. The service’s lowpoint was in April this year but has yet to exceed that drought since. You can read the full report by heading here.
