A couple of announcements have come out of Microsoft today as Major Nelson unveiled two new additions for the Xbox One.
First was the Xbox One Elite bundle which will come with the brand new Elite controller on top of a 1TB hard drive. The hard drive will utilize a solid state system, which makes it faster to access information faster and optimizes game play. The Elite controller will be fully customizable and allow the front end buttons to be remapped to which ever function you see fit. Rear paddles will also be situated underneath where your middle finger will lie in order to have quicker access. This will make games and Esports for titles such as Halo 5 Guardians even more competitive, which is Microsoft’s intention.
Also announced was the Lunar White controller. Sporting a gold trigger and D-pad, the controller is like the standard Xbox One controller with a reported improved grip and texture features as well. The Elite Bundle is available for pre-order now exclusively at Gamestop and the Microsoft Store and will ship beginning November 3rd for $499.
The Lunar White controller will cost the standard price of $64.99 and will be available late September with no specific release date as of yet.
