After announcing that Halo Infinite will be getting delayed to 2021, Microsoft have released an article on Xbox Wire stating the Xbox Series X will be launching this November.
Despite Halo being delayed and not launching with Series X, Microsoft states that there will be thousands of games spanning across four generations to play when the new console arrives.
“We have plenty to keep you busy until Chief arrives: There will be thousands of games to play, spanning four generations, when Xbox Series X launches globally this November and over 100 optimized for Xbox Series X titles, built to take full advantage of our most powerful console, are planned for this year.
With Master Chief out of the picture for launch day on Xbox Series X, a lot of pressure will come to Microsoft about not having a “proper” first party launch title. With Xbox Game Pass you’ll have access to lots of games on the most powerful console.
There hasn’t been a specific date yet for the release of Xbox Series X, but we’d assume that Microsoft will make an announcement soon.
