XDefiant is going to release with 14 maps, 24 weapons, 5 modes and 5 factions

Ubisoft Forward featured news on upcoming first-person shooter, XDefiant. The closed beta hit over 1 million players and they’ll have an open beta at the end of June for one last test before release this Summer.

Ubisoft revealed an entire road map for the first year of XDefiant and what’s to come in the Pre-Season. When XDefiant releases it will come with 14 maps, 24 weapons, 5 modes and 5 factions.

That is a lot of content to start a first-person shooter these days and when Season 1 starts that’s when even more comes. By the time year one finishes for XDefiant there will be an additional 4 Factions, 12 Weapons and 12 Map. That’ll make it 26 maps for this game in just its first year.

A release date has not been shared for XDefiant yet, but it’s planned for this Summer for Xbox Series XlS, PlayStation 5 and PC.

XDefiant is going to be free-to-play when it comes out.
