For most video game franchises, you can deem that the series officially ‘made it’ when there is an official Lego set available in retail. Some of the most prolific IPs were adapted into Lego over the course of a decade. We witnessed this with Nintendo plenty already for both Super Mario & Animal Crossing. And, The Legend of Zelda is also on that list now for a new set coming this September.

Additionally, there are other iconic games that welcomed the same treatment. Previously, an entire live of sets for Sonic the Hedgehog shipped for store shelves. However, very few games did the complete opposite bringing Lego to the IP. We witnessed this with Fortnite last year. In that, the battle royale rolled out ‘Lego Fortnite’ which offers a new realm to create & play with Lego in Fortnite fashion. 

Now to return the favor, Lego is preparing to roll out a Battle Bus Lego set for this fall. Atop of the new $99 set, there will also be additional sets such as ‘Supply Llama’, ‘Durrr Burger’, and ‘Peely Bone’ all costing $39.99, $14.99, and $99.99 respectively. Alike the Battle Bus, all four Fortnite Lego sets are prepared to release this October.

“Ignite imaginations with the LEGO® Fortnite Battle Bus (77073) video game toy for fans aged 10 and up. Based on the exciting video game, the building set lets gamers create a cool Fortnite vehicle,” the description from the Lego set page reads.

Once the bus is complete, they’ll delight in discovering iconic accessories such as Slurp Juice, a Grappler, Pickaxes and Slap Juice, as well as 9 minifigures of iconic Fortnite outfits. Bringing the adventure to life, these can be seated inside the bus to fuel creative role play.”
