Services like Xbox Game Pass give players the option to download games and stream them, adding another option for how people play games. Sony fans will now be able to do the same with the latest feature added to PlayStation Now.
Revealed in a blog post, players will be able to stream games through their subscription service either locally or offline. Nearly all titles in the service, along with a list of PlayStation 2 remastered titles, are available now to stream through the paid subscription. Subscribers’ DLC and other paid content will also be supported through PlayStation Now; this includes Pro Enhancements for the PlayStation 4 Pro.
For those who plan to stream their games, they will have to transfer any saved data to the PlayStation 4 from the PS Cloud to continue where you left off. Members will have to occasionally sign into PlayStation Network on their console to verify their service subscription. For any questions on the new feature, Sony has a list of support FAQs which you can check here.
