You’ll Need To Make Space On Your Hard Drive For Red Dead Redemption 2

UPDATE: Rockstar Intel have put out the news that Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Xbox One will be 88.57GB in size. Another thing to keep in mind which was pointed out by the website is that  GTA V on Xbox One is a total of 76.4GB with all the updates since day one.

A few days ago Sony revealed a PlayStation 4 Pro bundle which included Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 in the package. With this bundle will come with a custom box featuring the included game, and some were able to pick out a few details for the upcoming title.

RockstarIntel reported that Red Dead Redemption 2 will require a minimum of 105 GBs to install the base game. Which is a steep change compared to the previous Grand Theft Auto V that asks for a 65 GB download on current-gen consoles.

Along with revealing how much space the game will take up, more details for Red Dead Online was discovered from the console’s box. Certain online content for the game will be exclusive to the platform for the first thirty days of releasing. But what this “online content” might be wasn’t in detail. As there is already known content exclusive to PlayStation 4, it’s unsure if the content is completely exclusive or just for a limited time.

And read in the small, white text of the package gives the indication that the online portion of the game will support between 2 – 32 players. Which is close to GTA Online’s player count of 30.

With the recent reveal of Red Dead Online by Rockstar, many are anticipating how this will stand out from their 2013 title. A beta is planned for online in the following month of the game releasing. The developer has stated that more information on the game’s multiplayer will be revealed as we slowly approach the title’s launch date.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available on October 26, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
