Although Valentine’s Day is already more than a month ago, publisher 2K wanted to show its love for Nintendo Switch by no other way than revealing some of the company’s most popular franchises will be bundled and shipping to the Nintendo eShop. We did get a premature tease of this previously as Bioshock: The Collection was listed for Nintendo Switch on a Taiwanese Ratings Board earlier this year.

Now in the latest Nintendo Direct Mini, 2K revealed that BioShock: The Collection, of course, Borderlands Legendary Collection and the XCOM 2 Collection will all be arriving to the Switch platform in late May. You can witness the announcement in the trailer below:

Dividing up all three bundles that will be shipping in late spring, Bioshock: The Collection will go first. Alike the trilogy of games that is already available on other platforms, Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite will all be available this time on Nintendo Switch. However, the game assumably will not exceed the visual performance that the competing powerhouse machines from Microsoft and Sony. Even more, all content that released for the listed games will also be available after purchase.

Transitioning over to the Borderlands Legendary Collection, this series of games is new offering Borderlands: Game of the Year, Borderlands 2, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. While competing hardware has been acquainted with Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, users did not receive the original Borderlands game making Nintendo the first to receive it. Alike with Bioshock, all games mentioned from Gearbox Software will also provided additional content for the games as well.

Lastly, the XCOM 2 Collection is a slimmer bundle, but still a bundle to say the least. While this only offers one game, it does, however, include four DLC add-ons and the redefining story expansion – including Resistance Warrior Pack, Anarchy’s Children, Alien Hunters, and Shen’s Last Gift. Saving the best for last with the War of the Chosen expansion, this content campaign expands the base game’s storyline and adds additional factions to the world.

Which collection are you most eager to own on Nintendo Switch?

Bioshock: The Collection, Borderlands Legendary Collection, and XCOM 2 Collection will all arrive to Nintendo Switch on May 29, 2020.
