4A Games will be attending Gamescom later this August. The official website lists the developers of the Metro series as an exhibitor in Hall 3.2 at Stand D051 C050.

This brings attention because this might mean 4A Games has a new project to announce ahead of Gamescom opening. It was leaked earlier in the year from Insider Gaming that a Metro Exodus sequel was in a playable state. The report also said a reveal would happen this year with a release for the sequel in 2024. It was also shared 4A Games is collaborating with Saber Interactive on its future projects

Gamescom: Opening Night Live opens the show of Gamescom that is hosted by Geoff Keighley. This is where game announcements are usually made if there will be any at the event. Another rumored announcement at the event in Germany is a new LEGO Harry Potter Game.

4A Games last released Metro Exodus on February 2019 and the franchise has been quiet over the last four years.

Will a new Metro game get you hyped?
