Activision Will Not Have A Booth At E3 2019

E3 is coming up in just a few weeks and more news is coming out regarding the showfloor and which companies will actually have a spot at the event. According to the floor plans this year, Activision will be absent from the trade show booth wise where they almost always attend. We do know that the company will be there though at the E3 Coliseum with news on the next Call of Duty title.

It’s quite possible that the reason we aren’t seeing them at the event with a booth is because of Sony not willing to attend. Those two companies always partner when it comes to Call of Duty, but there might be more to the reason why. Activision will be available to talk with the media and attend meetings which is similar to what they did in 2016 with Infinite Warfare.

During that week after E3 is CWL Anaheim which is the major esports event for the franchise and it’s more than likely we see more about 2019 Call of Duty at that event. The other reason we might not see Activision is probably that they don’t have much to show other than Call of Duty. In most cases we’d see the game showcased somewhere in Sony’s presentation, but that won’t be a possibility this year.

You can view the floor plans below and it’s odd not seeing Xbox, Sony, EA, and Activision now:
