Although the well-received Animal Crossing: New Horizons proves to be the game that the world needed at its release, the market also responds in liking the latest entry too. Currently, the 2020 title is sitting at the second most sold title for Nintendo Switch just behind Mario Kart 8: Deluxe as of Nintendo’s latest financial report. But, the game sits to be haltered by new content.
It was this past February that the Super Mario Bros. update came to the game adding new in-game items. Alongside a later spring update which infused more additions to the game, the remaining additions are repeating events from 2020 already which does not offer much other new elements. However, Nintendo went on to promise its plans for more sufficient add-ons very soon.
From the September Nintendo Direct last month, Nintendo promised a focused Direct for Animal Crossing: New Horizons would be taking place. And it has arrived offering an abundance of new features. You can watch the footage in the video below:
Namely, Brewster is making his debut for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Atop of that, beloved characters such as Kapp’n and Harriet are to be making a return. But that is just the surface of it all. In addition to that, players can now anticipate even more errands to perform as cooking is on the way. In extension to that, you can raise your own crops and create new recipes. Atop of growing produce, Gyroids come back in a similar manner which can sprout with new abilities too.
Elsewhere in the video, the game receives new peripherals as well. Via the Joy-Con gyro controls, you can perform stretching routines solely through the detachable controllers. Additionally, the improved ‘Camera Pro’ welcomes a first-person view to take ground-level photos now. However, there is more beyond your island.
Announcing the Happy Home Paradise DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you can orchestrate your own resort and customize every aspect to your preference for vacationers. With that brings more internal decorating options including ceiling décor, kitchen counters, wall partitions, and support pillars. The add-on is said to arrive for $24.99 on November 5th, the same day as the coming update.
