Apex Legends Season 19 – Ignite Features New Legend Conduit, Introduces Cross-Progression

While Apex Legends remains one of the largest sources of revenue for Electronic Arts, the battle royale has entered a slump. Previously, the publisher disclosed it dipped in its quarterly performance. But, it was hinted that major improvements are on the way for the greater, shared universe. Come Season 18 – Resurrection, the game revitalized simulacrum Revenant with a whole new build for the character.

Additionally, content did face an improvement with fresh limited-time modes. The ‘Harbingers Collection Event’ earlier in the season welcomed the new Living Shell game type. And it even carried over into the currently ongoing ‘Doppelgangers Collection Event’ as well. Not to mention the welcoming of a separate Trick N’ Treat game mode as well.

This week, Respawn Entertainment has properly revealed Season 19 – Ignite featuring the newest Legend, Conduit. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:

“It’s your Time to Shine in Apex Legends: Ignite. With her shield-based abilities, let Conduit be your guiding light for regeneration and disruption. She’s the spark your squad needs to become Apex Champions on the faster and deadlier Storm Point,” the team pens. “This tempest of a map has been overhauled with a reduced size and fresh Points of Interest like The Pylon, ZEUS Station, and Devastated Coast.”

One of the largest features in the trailer is cross-progression finally here. In 2021, the team told ongoing attacks to Titanfall servers did delay the feature’s arrival, but the wait is almost over. “With the launch of Apex Legends: Ignite we are excited to be bringing Cross Progression to Apex Legends. Cross Progression will be rolling out across existing platforms, and players will be phased in over a period of time in order to ensure stability for this anticipated feature.

“Keep an eye out for an in-game prompt to initiate the migration to bring together your content and progression. Cross Progression data will be associated with your EA account. Due to the nature of merging accounts across platforms, various aspects of Apex Legends (Apex Coins, Crafting Materials, etc.) will be impacted differently—see tables below. Anyone that does not log in during the migration period will have their account migrated automatically at a later date.”
