Ubisoft’s For Honor launched nearly two years ago and since the game’s debut has introduced a vast and diverse set of characters that stuck out between one another to give players variety when playing along with reason to continue returning to the fighting action title. Following with the most recent expansion, Marching Fire, brought four new playable characters to the game’s cast: now coming towards the brink of 2019, Ubisoft has something else planned for their title.

In a recent tweet on the game’s official Twitter, a video was posted teasing a crossover between the fighter and open-world series Assassin’s Creed. With a caption of the tweet reading “Nothing is true, everything is permitted.” The post then lead those interested to watch the upcoming stream to reveal what is in-store from the teaser.

Today, the live stream passed and officially revealed that the franchise crossover expands broader than expected: announcing the For The Creed timed event. For the Month-long event players will be able to play a themed iteration of Dominion which poses the Assassins and the Templars against one another. And it wouldn’t be complete without a few familiar faces present: Ezio Auditore de Firenze will lead the Assassin forces while Caesar Borgia is in charge of the Templar army.

Just like other timed events there is also a long list of cosmetics, emotes, and other little digital goodies to grab when playing the new event. Players will be able to customize their characters with several different outfits & weapons from over an handful of the Assassin’s Creed titles like the notorious hidden blade and Shao Jun’s iconic robes. Executions also get touched upon as the event brings familiar assassination techniques to use against others when playing.

For The Creed Event is live now starting today and will end next month on January 20th. For Honor is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
