Game crossovers and collaborations continue to be more prevalent, especially with online-focused titles as developers continue to expand variety on their latest platform. The latest example of this is in Monster Hunter World with the unexpected crossover event that Capcom and Ubisoft paired together to feature the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

The SDF: Silent, Deadly and Fierce Event pits the player to “Fight against a group of nimble, fierce, and impetuous monsters to earn Senu’s Feather. Don the Bayek Layered Armor and the specialized tool Assassin’s Hood, and maybe you’ll get a taste of the Assassin life from Assassin’s Creed.”

The mentioned Hood tool shown in the trailer dresses the player like Ezio from Assassin’s Creed II and will apply a damage buff when sneaking along with a speed boost when climbing and running. The event is currently live on both consoles until January 10th: PC will be included into the mix at in the near future.

If you weren’t aware already, next month another collab event will be taking place this time showcasing The Witcher’s Geralt with unique missions and costumes.

Monster Hunter Wolrd is out now for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.
