In the latest trailer uploaded by the game’s studio, it reveals that Geralt of Rivia will be joining the game as a playable character with his own set of quests and unique skills. Alongside the collaboration with CD Project Red, Capcom has also revealed the upcoming expansion that will be arriving at some point of “Autumn 2019”.
Titled Icebourne, the new expansion will feature a new story following the main game’s campaign, new monsters, and quests to do. For what other elements that might be added, it’s easy to assume the harsher climates forming ice in the water will play a role in the upcoming DLC.
It should also be noted that in celebration of the upcoming one year birthday for the January released title will have an event players can participate in. Appreciation Fest will bring new quests along with a more celebratory gathering hub for the special occasion.
