Although Ubisoft has shipped its latest Assassin’s Creed title ‘Valhalla’ back in fall 2020, the firm remains in support of the game in its post-launch phase. Back in March, the firm launched its latest expansion ‘Dawn of Ragnarok’ which explores the fantastical Norse setting and unwind the mystery hidden story behind the notorious god Odin.
However, the firm is preparing to push more for its previous titles as well. In the past, Ubisoft launched an update for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey which introduced 60hz support for the game. Additionally, Assassin’s Creed Origins was also projected for this feature as well. More recently, Microsoft revealed Assassin’s Creed Origins & For Honor are to both be added to Xbox Game Pass in the approaching months.
In a new finding from Pure Xbox, the official dates for both games coming to the service has been revealed. On the ‘Coming Soon’ tab for the service, it reveals Assassin’s Creed Origins coming on June 6th and For Horor to be added on Jun 1st next month. You can view a screenshot of this in the image below:
That is not where the tale ends regarding Assassin’s Creed Origins. Remember mentioning 60 FPS support? Well, that is on the way for next week. According to @PlayStationSize on Twitter, a new update for the game is slated to go live next week which will incorporate 60hz mode for the game. Version 1.60 will be active for both Xbox & PlayStation sometime next week.
Looking ahead for Assassin’s Creed, reports circulated a few months back mentioning the IP exploring its next setting. In that, Baghdad is the next location set prior to the events of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and will follow the story of the Hidden Ones’ missionary Basim.
