While Ubisoft continues to push forward with its next major releases for 2021 like Far Cry 6 and Roller Champions, the publisher is not entirely done with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla just yet. Though the game arrived back in November, Ubisoft Montreal has already mapped out the extensive content campaign that will arrive in the following months for the game.

Atop of what Ubisoft already scheduled ahead of the game for more than half a year, the firm also faced an explosive amount of users on the game in contrast to the series’ last entry. In that, Ubisoft Quebec’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey only faced half the number of players to what Assassin’s Creed Valhalla harbored at launch.

In preparation of what is to come in the approaching weeks, Ubisoft has issued that the first expansion, Wrath of the Druids, arrive in late April next month. “Explore and smuggle your way through the haunted beauty of Ireland as you gain the favor of Gaelic kings and confront the druidic cult, the Children of Danu,” the overview for the add-on reads.

As part of the ‘Ostara Season that already kicked off back on March 18, there is also the addition of titular, timed event which lightens the atmosphere over at Ravensthorpe. Additionally, players following Wrath of the Druids can expect ‘Mastery Challenges’ to be welcomed to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla sometime in late spring.

“I can safely say after the 70+ hours I have spent so far the game is worth the purchase price of $60,” Michael Merchant writes in his review for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. “ I can see the game easily lasting over 100 hours to complete everything and while a portion of the time will be fluff, much of the time spent has value.” You can read the full review by heading here.
