Rumors have been flying around regarding Call of Duty 2025, and more well-known leakers have come out sharing more info on what could come. Every season, Call of Duty games tend to have limited-time game modes related to a holiday or this time of year. Soon, there might be a paywall behind those.
According to TheGhostofHope on X, Activision and Treyarch are going to make changes to Call of Duty 2025, also known as Black Ops 7. The leaker claims COD 2025 will have more seasonal Limited Time Game Modes, and some of them will be considered “higher value” that will have unique rewards and different game mechanics and modes, but the only way to play the Limited Time Game Modes will be to have the Battle Pass.
This plan would replace having the Premium Event Track that Treyarch and Activision put out during the reloaded updates. A recent example is the High Art event, which has a Premium Track that will allow you to unlock Seth Rogen in Call of Duty.
When Will Call of Duty 2025 Release?
Activision has not revealed anything about the next Call of Duty title. However, leaks have been spreading that it’ll be another Black Ops title. It was rumored that the next Call of Duty could still release on Xbox One and PS4. It is also a possibility that we can see the game come to the Nintendo Switch 2 thanks to an agreement arranged between Microsoft and Nintendo.
