Call of Duty 2025 could be released on the Nintendo Switch 2

Microsoft is set to be a major third-party publisher when it comes to the future of the Nintendo Switch 2. A lot of that is due to them owning Activision, Blizzard Entertainment, and Bethesda. However, in 2023 when Microsoft was in the process of purchasing Activision they agreed with Nintendo to bring Call of Duty games to their consoles.

The agreement between Nintendo and Microsoft was for 10 years that will bring Call of Duty games to the Nintendo Switch 2. It is speculated the new console will release in Spring 2025 which would be available in time for the release of Call of Duty in the Fall.

The 10-year agreement between the two companies is the main reason why Call of Duty 2025 could be released on the Switch 2.

It may be too late for Black Ops 6 to release for the Nintendo Switch 2. We could see Warzone make its way however that remains to be seen as we don’t know the official specs of the console.

Call of Duty: Ghosts was the last game in the franchise to be released on a Nintendo console.
