Ever since Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard there has been an expectation that old Call of Duty games would be coming to Xbox Game Pass. Over the last few months, we did get Black Ops 6 and Modern Warfare 3 (2023) added to the service.
According to XboxEra, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be coming to Xbox Game Pass sometime in March or April. It remains to be seen if it will just be the Campaign or the Multiplayer for Modern Warfare 2 that will hit Game Pass,
In December it was discovered on the Microsoft Store that several older Call of Duty titles could be arriving on the subscription service soon. That list included Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War, and more.
As always we should take reports like this with a grain of salt. However, XboxEra has proven to be accurate in the past with Xbox leaks.
We’ll have to wait and see if Microsoft will make this announcement in the next few weeks.
Would you replay the 2009 Call of Duty title if it becomes available on Game Pass?
