The effort of Scopely in recent weeks has illustrated to be reaching for new heights based on the new decisions by the firm. Already a massive publisher in mobile game, the firm is also taking one of the largest IPs on the platform – Pokémon Go. In March, Scoeply acquired Niantic and its IPs for $3.5 billion. Monster Hunter Now & Pikmin Bloom are also included in the deal.

Additionally, parent company Savvy Games Group elaborated on the effort to tackle console & PC too for Scoeply. “We’re still sort of working that out. But we do need to turn our mind to PC and console. That could be through the lens of Scopely, but there could be something that’s not in Scopely’s wheelhouse also, but hopefully we’ll figure that out shortly,” CEO Brian Ward told at GDC recently.

In a new announcement per CD Projekt Red in its latest earnings call, the Polish developer announces that it is partnering with Scopely on a new project for one of its IPs. You can watch the segment of the call in the video below:

“I’m excited to share that we’ve entered into a strategic partnership with Scopely to develop a game set within one of CD Projekt’s IPs,” joint CEO Michał Nowakowski said. Adding on the context of the deal, Nowakowski added in the Q&A: “We have no further information to be added on that subject in this call. The time for that will come in the future.”

Another pillar from the earnings call was The Witcher IV. After a near-decade wait, CD Projekt Red unveiled the first trailer for the game with Ciri starring in the new trilogy. The firm in the earnings call revealed that the game is aiming to release sometime after 2026. You can read the full report by heading here.
