The Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders have officially gone live in the United States and Canada and it almost seemed impossible for some to get their orders confirmed. Over the last few days more retailers had more Switch 2 consoles available for pre-order, but there will be others that will start selling on June 5.
It has been confirmed on Costco that starting on June 5, 2025, the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle will be “available for purchase”.
The Costco bundle for the Switch 2 not only comes with Mario Kart World, but it will come with a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack individual membership. The retailer has not revealed the price of this unique bundle.
It seems that some Costco stores are also trying to get rid of any Switch 1 stock such as Joy Cons as they are going for just $30 for both the Right and Left Joy-Con controller.
From the looks of it, Walmart and GameStop had started to crack down on scalpers pre-ordering multiple consoles by cancelling them and re-listing the Switch 2 for pre-order. Target or Best Buy have not gone back in stock yet since April 24 at midnight.
