Crazy Taxi reboot is reported to have online elements and will release in 2027

Sega has a lot of new projects in the works while they’ve been releasing new games to start this year with Persona 3 Reload having huge success already and Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. According to a known insider on X (Twitter), the Jet Set Radio reboot will likely be released in 2026 and it will come to the new Nintendo Switch hardware.

According to @MbKKssTBhZ5, Crazy Taxi also had a remake and reboot initiative bringing online elements and more to the Sega classic. This project is related to what was revealed during The Game Awards in December and is planned for a 2027 release as of now.

It would make sense for these games to have new elements to make them even better in the modern era of gaming. As always we have to take these as rumors until an official announcement is made by Sega at some point.
