Kicking off the transition into September, Epic Games did an abrupt event release which morphed Fortnite’s battle royale gameplay with Borderlands likeness as Pandora swiftly appeared on the map. And while the event has already ended since last week, fans can look forward to yet another licensed event expected to drop in the coming weeks.
According to dataminers for the game, a Batman-themed event is expected to release soon as depicted from the dozens of code and items resembling the Caped Crusader’s universe.

Ranging from the Batman Grapnel Gun and Explosive Batarang (as provided above), other props that players will have available to collect list a cape cosmetic, bat wing glider, and a Batman set which contains more themed items that were not revealed from the dataminers.
To top this off with a cherry, it seems that Fortnite will also be stumbling into Gotham City as a separate leak teases what the temporary location will look like. Buildings in the area show to be engulfed with green flames, possibly hinting towards Joker being involved with the event and the iconic Bat Signal painted into the skyline projected from the newly erected buildings.

This year marks the 80th anniversary since the debt of Batman, so it would explain quite a bit for this event. Along with the grimness of the DC Comics universe, this would also pair well with the Halloween being right around the corner as well. Currently, Epic Games has yet to properly announce this event.
Fortnite is out now for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Androis, and iOS.
