For Yakuza fans, you might recall the beginning trilogy – Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami 1, Yakuza Kiwami 2 – launching for Xbox Game Pass once again. While the original trio is what introduced the franchise to subscribers, the games were later departed from the service. Well, it was until this past July that these titles made a comeback once more.

Additionally, the question was raised if the same treatment will be applied to PlayStation Plus. Of course, the IP was originally unique to the platform for nearly two decades, so it was expected some form of support will be brought. And, that was met with an announcement last month for Yakuza 0 – Yakuza: Like a Dragon to be added.

Well this week Sony Interactive Entertainment returns with yet another roasted update for the halfway point of the month listing August 16th for the inaugural Yakuza titles and even more for Extra & Premium. You can read the full list below:

Moreover on PlayStation Plus’ commitment to its subscribers, Ghost Recon Wildlands is one example of that. If you may recall, the launch of the revamped Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers for PlayStation Plus was to also include Ubisoft+ Classics for those subbed to the latter tiers. Currently, this remains unique to the platform whilst Xbox still awaits the service to launch.

However, that is not to say Ubisoft pledged its own allegiance to Xbox Game Pass. In recent weeks, we witnessed a slew of titles from the publisher rolling out for the service. The most recent title being again Ghost Recon Wildlands. You can read the full report by heading here.
